Windows 10: Tick in "select a date or date range" won't go

Discus and support Tick in "select a date or date range" won't go in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; Hello I have searched everywhere but can't find the answer could be because I am not sure what I am asking, but in one of my folders a few weeks ago,...     Tick in "select a date or date range" won't go


    Hello


    I have searched everywhere but can't find the answer could be because I am not sure what I am asking, but in one of my folders a few weeks ago, I searched for something and selected the "select a date or date range" - the tick in the box.


    Now when I go to that folder, the tick is always there - I just can't work out how to stop it defaulting to it. I have removed it a number of times and then close the folder but it is always there when I go back!


    Any ideas?

    1. Open the Windows File Explorer
    2. In the search box, in the top right corner of the window type datemodified:
    3. After datemodified: has been typed the "Select a date or date range" window will appear, select the date or date range for when you believe the file was last modified.
    4. Depending on the dates this search may take a few seconds to a minute to complete.
