Windows 10: Time remaining: Calculating...

Windows just spent 45 seconds calculating how long it will take to delete a folder, then 5 seconds to delete it. Why?

Windows 10 Battery Time Remaining Always Calculating Never Showing How Much Time Left

Hi,

I have the same problem, never shows the time always calculating, both when charging and draining battery. I tried both things you suggested and detected no problems and still have the calculating... always.

Any serious suggestions, more technical maybe?

Why not make a suggestion on the Feedback Hub.

I think this is a step in the right direction. I use Calculator daily.

 

Battery showing unexpected remaining time

In tests that Matebook lasted on average 6 - 9 hours on a full charge depending on the applications in use at the time

Depending on what you are currently doing on the laptop, the remaining time is re-calculated on a regular basis

If say you are watching a film, Windows will calculate the remaining battery time. Then if you turn off that film and software after a few minutes Windows will re-calculate and show a longer remaining time, because you are no longer running an intensive task
