Windows 10: Timing During the Solitaire World Tour games, etc.

I do not understand the timing while competing in these tours. Can I assume the timing stops when you complete a challenge, and does not start again until you start the next challenge? What about the timing if you want to take a break from the games for several hours, does the clock tick somehow. I did a challenge yesterday, which I thought took about 120 minutes, but my time showed up as 4 hours +.. I'm confused.

The advertisements that keep popping up whenever you try to play the World Tour event in Solitaire may be the main reason why the game itself freezes. To assist you better with this issue, kindly answer the questions below:

• Are you playing Solitaire from the Microsoft Solitaire Collection that came with your Windows 10?
• Is this happening when playing a normal game of Solitaire?
• Are you connected to the Internet while playing the World Tour event?

The timer in the Microsoft Solitaire World Tour will continue to run unless you close the game online. Once you reopened the game, it will just continue from the time where you stopped.

solitaire world tour

Hi, solitaire world tour has been crashing for 2 days, I have tried your troubleshooter, Q/A, uninstalling. reinstalling everything I have tried has not helped. rest of the game works fine, just completed daily challenges, but when I click on world tour
I get the "having trouble connecting" and then I get the busy whirly blue circle next to the cursor and the game closes, every time.
