  1. TLS 1.1 AND TLS 1.2 are gray out

Im using windows 10, there is an specific webite I cant access trough Explorer or Edge, but works perfectly fine on Chrome. I had another computer and the web site was working fine. On the internet options under the ADVANCE tab there are four options as follows (all of them are gray out):

    SSL 3.0 (enabled)

    TLS 1.0 (enabled)

    TLS 1.1 (disabled)

    TLS 1.2 (disabled)

this are the defaul values on my new computer, but in the old one this four options have been enabled.

I saw a video on youtube about to actice those options but that tutorial requieres Local Group Policy Editor that I can not run on my computer. I had Windows 7 on my old computer.

I really need to have access to this website on my new computer

Can someone tell me hwo to enable this options on my computer, thank you for your time!

    :)

    Microsoft Edge TLS Security

After trying everything (not a lot of steps) listed in the Microsoft Edge support site, I did a wider search and found this very simple youtube video that fixed it immediately:

For those who prefer not to click links the steps are simple:

    1. Click in the Cortana search bar next to the Win 10 Start button

    2. Type internet options

    3. Select internet options (control panel) from the list

    4. Click on the advanced tab

    5. Scroll down to the security section

    6. Make sure the following are all clicked:
    Use SSL 3.0
    Use TLS 1.0
    Use TLS 1.1
    Use TLS 1.2

    7. Click apply

    8. Refresh the page that was giving the error and it should now connect.

Hope this helps, it was a 30 second fix after hours of pounding my head against the error with the Support site suggestions.

  3. upgrading from AMD TL-58 to TL-68

Hello everyone. I'm new to computer modding and this forum. I've done a lot of reading and searching but some things remain unclear. I currently have a Toshiba Satellite which I'm trying to setup for pure school use as my Toshiba Quosimo is just too big to haul around that much. I currently have the AMD Turion TL-58 and I've read that the AMD TL-68 is compatible. What I'm unsure of is the fact that the TL-58 has G1 core stepping and the TL-68 has G2 core stepping. Also I've read that I need to change my 667 MHz ram to 800 MHz ram which is what the TL-68 runs at. Is there a compatibility issue with the different core stepping? Is the change in ram necessary? Will the computer need to be reflashed for the TL-68? Hopefully I have provided enough info on my situation but if there is anything else I need to share please let me know.

    Thanks,
    Nick
