Windows 10: Toddler proofing W10 (not a parental controls question)

My three youngest are an absolute menace when it comes to our PCs. Two laptops and a desktop are in the living room, gaming rig and other notebook kept behind locked door.

I have searched every possible combination of words as to how to toddler proof a PC.

My icons from change size, location, etc.

They are in settings,

They are deleting stuff,

The task bar is up the side of the screen,

YouTubekids can't seem to stay logged in because of something they did etc...

I'm sick of it!

This is not an admin account, they are in local accounts. No password, no Microsoft account.

I want them to be able to change NOTHING! Every desktop and systems feature requiring a secondary action.

Parental Controls aren't working

Hi,

The issue could be because of corrupted files. I suggest you to delete the corrupted files yourself and see if it helps

to resolve the issue, please follow these steps:

1) Make sure your children are signed out of any monitored accounts.

2) Sign in with an administrator account and find the folder that contains the corrupted files.

There are two ways to do this. The easiest way is to enter the complete file path:

• 
  On the Start screen, type C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Parental Controls and press Enter.
  

• 
  If you’d rather open each folder individually, follow these steps:
  

a. Go to This PC

b. Open C:, open the
ProgramData folder, open the Microsoft folder, open the
Windows folder, and open the Parental Controls folder.

3) Delete all contents of the Parental Controls folder.

This will delete any corrupt files. Your settings will be downloaded again from familysafety.microsoft.com the next time you sign in.

To disable your Parental Control, please follow the steps:

1. Go to the Control Panel from the Windows Start menu.

2. Click User Accounts.

3. Click Parental Controls.

4. Click on your account photo.

5. Choose Parental control off.

Parental Controls for You Tube videos

In the Parental Microsoft account, I have allowed a specific URL link to a You Tube video for my child, but when logged in using the child's account, then going to the allowed Youtube video, I was able to click on the suggested videos on the side eventhough
those videos have a different URL and those URL's are not on the allowed list. How would I fixed that?

I have already turned on parental controls on YouTube as well, but thought that the most fool proof way is to allow a specific video only. Now, those suggested videos are screwing things up - my children shouldn't be able to watch those as the URL's haven't
been allowed.
