Windows 10: touch pad mouse pointer

on games my in game pointer doesn't work it is just stuck in the center of the screen but behind the game I can move the desktop pointer.

The Mouse Pointer (THE OLD ONE?)

Hi Amir,

Are you using an external mouse or the touch pad mouse? You can change the way how your mouse pointer looks by following these steps:

1. Press Windows key on your keyboard, type Change your mouse settings and select the search result.
2. On the window that would appear, click Additional mouse options.
3. On the Pointers tab, under Scheme, click
   Windows Default (system scheme) on the drop-down menu.

Let me know if there are improvements.

 

Touch Pad pointer is missing.

To help resolve your concern with your missing Touchpad pointer, kindly follow the steps below:

• Press the Windows key on your keyboard for the Menu bar to appear.
• Type Mouse & TouchPad Settings and hit enter.
• Select the last tab that contains the built-in mouse pad.
• Click Enable device.
• Restart your computer.

If issue persists, press and hold Left Alt + Left Shift + Number Lock. You will be prompted to a small box. Use the tab key to select the
Yes option.

Mouse pointer & pad not working

The mouse pointer/touch pad on my daughter's Windows 10 Toshiba laptop stopped working shortly after I bought it for her. I had this same problem with my laptop, but I don't know how the Microsoft tech fixed it. The mouse device is updated & says it's
working properly. FN+F9 keys don't do anything to help. Yes, I know she can use an external mouse, but that's not the same as fixing the problem. How do i fix the mouse pointer?
