    I have had multiple Windows 10 updates applied on my HP Pavilion X360 over the last 2 weeks. The last of these being Windows 10, Version 1903. During this update, Windows kept persisting with the message to activate Voice for Cortona so I shut that damn thing off as it slows my laptop down.


    Since these updates from mid September, my tablet mode on the laptop is completely messed up. It would switch to tablet mode and then while coming back to desktop mode, half the features would switch back but the mouse/touch/click would work inconsistently.


    Having grown frustrated, I resorted to completely turning off Tablet mode. Now, I have a different problem. When I use the laptop, I cannot use anything in the taskbar either with the Touchpad or with the Mouse. I have to use short cuts and alt+tab to switch between open tabs. CLICK DOES NOT WORK! Within applications like PowerPoint / Chrome / FireFox, Mouse and Touchpad click works but in Outlook the Mouse and Touchpad click does not work. Scroll works. Same behavior with the touch screen. It works in some applications and does not in some including Taskbar.

    Mouse pad sometimes is multi touch???


    My wife also has a Toshiba Notebook and gets frustrated by the Touch pad [not to be confused with a mouse pad] when typing so she keeps it turned off and uses a wireless mouse. Some Touch pads have a "gesture" feature using 2 fingers, especially those with the Touch Screen, similar to SmartPhones and Tablets.

    touch pad unresponsive

    it might be a coincidence but since upgrading to windows 10, my touch pad on my acer laptop is unresponsive. ive tried the F7 key in case id turned it off by mistake, but nope. any other ideas? if I put a usb one in the mouse will work.

    HP Laptop Touch Pad problem


    I updated to 10 and fount that the slider bars on the touch pad don't work. The system doesn't have a mouse which it knows and shows a touch pad there and working but the sliders do not work. That am I doing wrong?
