  1. Touch Pad Not Working And Mice and other pointing devices missing in device manager

I have faced this issue today. My touchpad is not working on My HP pc all of a sudden. I tried to resolve issue browsing internet but was suprised to see no any device at mouse properties. There is no touch pad option either in mouse setting. I checked device manage where the mice and other pointers options is now disappeared. I tried using action tab to click scan for hardware changes. Still there is no trace of mice and other pointers.

I even tried BIOS load default settings. It didn't work either. Please help me to solve this issue.

    :)

  2. Can't find "mice or pointer device" in device manager

I posted in late December about my mouse and touch pad not working after upgrading to Windows 10. I received instructions to resolve this, however, when I go to Device Manager I don't see any link/listing for "mice and other pointing devices".

    Now what do I do?

My laptop is set for auto update. After an update loaded today my touchpad quit working. I tried several thing to turn it on but nothing worked. When I went to my device manager there is no longer Mice and Other Pointing Devices, listed. How can I fix
    this?

  4. Touch Pad Not Working And Mice and other pointing devices missing in device manager

Touch pad not working. I have tried everything.

    Hello.

    I have a semi new Lenovo laptop ThinkPad T450s with a new hard drive. After installing Windows 10 the touch pad doesn't work. It did however work before. I have spent all day trying to read up on how I may solve this to no avail. Therefore I am writing my own help request. Here is a list of things I have tried;

    Not Fn + F5
    tried updating drives
    not in device manager
not in control panel - mouse properties doesn't give me touch pad option (picture 2) nor is it anywhere in the control panel under deivices to be found
    Activated in BIOS
I tried taking some steps I read online in the Registration Entries but files seemed to be missing (perhaps here is the problem) but only ended up making my USB mouse to stop working so that didn't do the trick.
Synaptic pointing device is under View and show hidden devices.
Not sure what to do about the yellow exclamation mark but it says error "This device is not present, is not working properly or does not have all its drivers installed. (Code 24)"
    First picture.
