Windows 10: touch-pad scrolling

Hi,


When i first got this laptop the touch-pad scrolling was enabled and working fine, and all of a sudden it just stops working and I don't know why or how to fix it. I was reading a previous person's response who had the same question and I tried following the steps to fix it but half of them didn't apply to this laptop although it was the same windows 10. I was wondering if someone could help? please and thank you!

synaptics touch pad scrolling feature is not working


Hi Josiah its me again .Another issue tell me if u can solve this . Iam having synaptics touch pad in which scrolling feature is not working in win 10 ,was working in windows 8 . Can u guide me ?

 

Touch Pad Scrolling Doesn't work on Store Apps Windows 10


I have been facing this issue from the day one since I installed Windows 10 on my laptop (Dell XPS L502x).

Native Windows Applications like all browsers, office products etc. anything that is not from the Store, works fine. I can use Touch Pad scrolling with no trouble. e.g. on Internet Explorer, Chrome, MS Word, etc.

But the apps that come out of store or the apps like those which come pre-built with Windows 10 such as new Settings UI, Microsoft Edge. Touch Pad scrolling just don't work with these apps. When I perform scrolling the scroll-icon appears but doesn't scroll the content.

This issue is only with Touch Pad. External Mouse works great with scrolling on any kind of app.

PS: drivers are all good on the machine and up to date with no warning or error.

Microsoft store reinstalled windows 10....now touch pad two finger scrolling doesn't work......solution?
