Windows 10: touchpad not working on x360 pavilion model 14m-cd0006x

Hello, My Touch Pad on my HP Pavillion x360 model number 14M-CD0006X] isn't working. When looking for it this is what happens: The device does not show up initially in the Device Manager and neither does Mice and Pointing Devices. But, they both will show up if I click on "Show Hidden Devices". In which case it lists "Synaptics SMBus TouchPad" with a yellow warning triangle over it. Right clicking its properties says "This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed. Code 24" If I click on "Update Driver" it says that the driver is up to date.

Touchpad / Keyboard for my HP Pavilion 14m Doesn't work

The touchpad & Keyboard for my HP Pavilion 14m-dh0000 x360 Convertible PC doesn't work. I have combed the internet and tips but no way. Even install hp adviser, Tell me all system Good. reinstalled a fresh window same thing. Touchpad worked for some seconds after windows finally load, stopped and no signs of life after that.\\

Hi,

My laptop touchpad stopped working.

The I2C HID Device (one of the 2) is showing an error. I tried updating it , but get an error: Windows found drivers but encountered an error when attempting to install them. The device cannot start (code 10).

I tried to find the driver on the HP Support website, but they have nothing. Is there a way to manually update/install a driver?

I'm running Windows 11 with all the latest updates installed. The system model is HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14m-dw1xxx.

Touchpad Not Working (12C HID Device)

Sorry for not getting it correct before, the service model for the laptop is “HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14m-dw0xxx”. If that doesn't help let me know.
