    touchscreen problem


    I have an HP Zbook 15 g3 mobile workstation. Everything used to work just fine but it had a very old version of Windows 10 and I wanted to install the latest windows 10 pro. I performed a clean installation and not a single function in the laptop was working. I installed all drivers from HP and everything is working now except the touch screen.I already updated the graphics card drivers, Disabled and re-enabled HID touch screen driver in device manager, removed the power saving option, uninstalled the touch screen driver and restarted the laptop, used 3rd party driver software to detect the touch screen input device but nothing was detected, went through the control panel pen and touch and tablet pc settings and calibration. Nothing works at all. It is like the computer itself doesn't know that it has a touch screen.

    I am going crazy I am about to break that thing. anyone got a solution?

    Edit: Ubuntu works well without even needing the manufacturer's drivers. what is wrong with windows?

    Touchscreen monitor

    Hi, I'm looking into buying a touchscreen monitor for use with a Dell Inspiron 660 desktop pc rnning Windows 8 in order to fully utilise the touchscreen facilities of Windows 8.
    I'm preliminary looking at the Iiyama T2250MTS or T2452MTS touchscreen monitors. Anyone had experience of these, do they fully work under Windows 8?
    Any other suggestions of monitors in the £200-£350 range?
