    Toutchpad not working


    hi I have an ASUS Zephyrus G. ive had it for a couple years, and for a while now the toutchpad has not worked. all settings related to a toutchpad are utterly missing and i can see nothing in my device manager. ive tried installing drivers but that seems to have done nothing. is this a hardware issue?

    Can't turnoff toutchpad

    Hello, i have an issue, i can't turn off toutchpad on my laptop G16 bben, in device manager this toutchpad displayed as "microsoft PS/2" and there is no options to disable this device, also, key bindings for disabling toutchpad FN+F1 also doens't work. Updating
    drivers via microsoft updater, gave no changes. Thank you.

    Locked Toutchpad

    In an environment where users move with thier laptop from desk to desk, carrying the laptop with the lid open is asking for trouble. Setting the power options to never sleep when the lid is shut resolves the issue but creates another. The toutchpad goes
    to sleep, and it appears there is no "un-sleep" option. The only work around I have found is to press the power button, thus putting the laptop to sleep, and pressing again and entering the password. This unlocks the toutch pad. That makes changing the lid
    closed options pointless, unless you use another mouse.

    Has anyone found a resolution to this problem?

    The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

    Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
