I was trying to fix my latency problems, for the last year, and even tough I tried everything posted by Igor Leyko, very helpful, nothing helps.

    Here's screenshots on Google Photos:

But, while looking at the System Information I came across this.

Device Encryption Support: Reasons for failed automatic device encryption: TPM is not usable, PCR7 binding is not supported, Hardware Security Test Interface failed and device is not Modern Standby,Un-allowed DMA capable bus/devices detected, TPM is not usable

I don't know what this means. Nothing has been added to the mainboard as far as cards go since day 1, maybe 5 years ago. In vacuuming out the dust could I have jumped something?

My fear is that I am having a fatal mainboard issue? Any ideas?

I have exported my System Information here as a txt on OneDrive.

    https://1drv.ms/t/s!AvHeoCK1g693suMGS5aG3u1t5-dapQ?e=HnDaxL

Also, on boot up, after choosing boot drive there's a 20 min. for a timeout I guess, then I get the logon prompt.

I think this is the cause and it's another one of many problem I am trying to solve when not solving problems even more dire at work as we go through an ERP upgrade, on 2 1/2 years now.

Last week I upgraded the BIOS and I no longer get a boot screen.

    Regards,

    Chris.

    PCR7 Configuration Binding Not Possible

I've got Windows 10 Home, Version 10.0.18363 Build 18363. I haven't been having any specific problems, but tonight I looked at my System Information and on the Summary page I noticed a couple of entries that I really don't understand.

    • PCR7 Configuration Binding Not Possible
    • Device Encryption Support Reasons for failed automatic device encryption: PCR7 binding is not supported, Hardware Security Test Interface failed and device is not Modern Standby, Un-allowed DMA capable bus/device(s) detected
Do I have a problem that I'm unaware of? Should I be concerned? What do I do to fix it if necessary? Would appreciate some expert guidance here. Thanks.

  3. Device Encryption Support in System Information does not say "Meets prerequisites"

I bought Windows 10 Pro version 10.0.18362 Build 18362 and am running it on a Lenovo Z50-70 just to gain access to the Device Encryption facility.

When pulling up my system information where the device encryption support states the following "Reasons for failed automatic device encryption: TPM is not usable, PCR7 binding is not supported, Hardware Security Test Interface failed and device is not Modern
Standby, Un-allowed DMA capable bus/device(s) detected, TPM is not usable".

Can someone explain this to me and how I might be able to enable Device Encryption on my PC? Thank you in advance.
