just got this : Better Privacy is about to remove 17 LSO cookies. NOTE: LSO's might contain data that you consider as important. You can exclude LSO's from deletion at the next Firefox session. Thats 17 LSO cookies that Superspyware didnt detect!!!

Oh my goodness! Well then, a password manager should be your best friend: Only 1 password to remember, and it takes care of the rest!

LSO cookies are those Flash cookies I mentioned (above). You can go to Adobe and use their web panel manager to control those. You can even tell it not to save them at all, ever. However, I've noticed that some sites wouldn't work when I'd used that setting.

Sorry Simrick, removed SuperAntispyware and got a refund. I asked them why, in 3 full scans, why the same 'bugs' were coming up, and sent them a scan log. The result to their credit was VERY quick, and they said that thjeir software was identifying cookies, not spyware, that was, in the main, essential to the operation of some browsers!

I replied that, in that case, their software was not necessary, as I obviously didnt have any bugs. They paid me back almost immediately. I cant fault their customer service!

Not quite on topic, but relevant at the time. I was getting 'bugs' in my display software. This evening I downloaded Nvidia drivers and told them to do a fresh install, it worked.

Glad they were very responsive with the refund. I use their free version.
Had to update my drivers as well today.

Nor me but when a so called top of the range vaccinator tells me I have these 'bugs' then I listen until proven otherwise. I am disappointed that these even came up, causing unnecessary confusion. Some of them had been appearing for a while via ASC and I had long email discussions with them about why they find them but do not remove them (although it says it has). Their support team didnt have a clue!

last point on this. I mentioned earlier that it was mentioned in an article that windows has all the 'necessary software built in' to remove these and move. So, can someone give me a definitive list of windows software that eradicates germs?

Link to that article would be good. I am not aware of this capability in Windows.

For Chromium based browsers, you must use the web flash settings panel:

In Edge, I believe you must delete content from within Edge settings.
