Windows 10: Transfering a Retail windows 10 pro key from a PC thats been destroyed.

Hi Last august my youngest daughter spilled juice into the top of my PC and rendered it useless, I had a Windows 10 Pro key that I bought online a few months prior, I still have the key in an e-mail but I cannot use it. I bought a laptop that came with windows 10 preinstalled, but id like to upgrade it to the version I bought, is there anything I can do? Ive looked through endless threads about uninstalling the key from the PC, but that's just not possible.

If you upgraded from a retail box copy Windows 7, it has retail transfer rights.

Transfer Windows 10 Pro Retail key to new laptop

I recently upgraded my old laptop to Windows 10 Pro Retail (not the free upgrade). Shortly after that, I got a new laptop, but it runs Windows 8. Since I already used the key on my old laptop, is it still possible to transfer the Windows 10 Pro Retail
onto the new laptop? I don't plan on keeping the old laptop anymore, but I don't want the Windows 10 key to go to waste.

Hello guys i buyed a retail key for windows 10 pro my Laptop was on Windows 10 home OEM but i will buy a new PC soon so how i can transfer my pro license to my new pc do i need to re enter my key? or only format old pc and sing in on the new PC to update
to pro?
