Windows 10: Transfering Thunderbird program and setup fron one computer to another

Is there anyway to transfer earthlink settings especially emails& settins from a Dell PC, win 10 home, version 20h2 to a HP laptop having the same overall settings? My main objective is to have the two computers have the same email menus? They are both POP,have tried changing profiles, setting the two computers side by side so as to input the same info into the categories. To date l have had no luck. Suggestions???? I apologize if this question is not posted correcty.

• What error are you getting when you try to open Google.com in Chrome?
• Are you able to browse other websites?

I suggest you to try installing Mozilla Thunderbird in compatibility mode. Compatibility mode runs the program using settings from a previous version of Windows. Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

• Download Mozilla Thunderbird from the trusted website.

• Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘Properties’.
• Click on the ‘Compatibility’ tab and check the box
  ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8/8.1 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.

I need to change from Thunderbird,...can you list some alternatives?

 

transfer files between computers on a home network

I don't know why this is so hard to do but I would like to transfer files between a desktop PC running windows 10 pro and a laptop running windows 10 home. I would like to transfer files in both directions. Both computers are on the same home network and are connected wirelessly.

Could some one provide either specific step by step instructions on how to do this (I googled and found a countless list of instructions that don't work)

or a link to a reference.

I don't know if this is possible but it would be nice to see the computer sending the desired file in the explorer file manager of the computer receiving the desired file and then under the computer see a list
of shared files and folders.

Again, this seems like such a reasonable way of sharing files and folders. Shouldn't there be a simple way to do this?
