Hello, I desperately need help. A few days ago, I bought a new case, CPU cooler, fans and a new motherboard, and transferred everything else from my old PC, including SSD, Hard Drive, CPU, RAM, etc. I plugged it all up and made the mistake of booting into Windows from the SSD right away, so I promptly powered down and did a fresh install of Windows, selecting to keep my files.I encountered various BSOD stop-codes, including DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE, APC_INDEX_MISMATCH, ATTEMPTED_EXECUTE_OF_NO_EXECUTE_MEMORY, and UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP. New components

    Hi tweedscdxx

Great, in that case, you will have no problem, your licence is Retail and holds transfer rights to a new Motherboard or PC . . .

When you swap out the hardware components, contact Microsoft Support and they will re-activate Windows for you . . .

KernelBase.dll is broken constant BSOD's constant game crashing.

    Hi Darry,

User Profile corruption is one of the possible reasons why you are experiencing constant BSOD's on your computer. You mentioned that you ran the
System File Checker (SFC) tool, but is still getting a stop code. To further troubleshoot the issue, we suggest that you create a new User Profile and check if the issue persists.

To create a user profile, follow these steps:

    • Go to Settings. Click Accounts.
    • Select Family & other people.
    • Select the Add someone else to this PC tab.
    • Name the user as Test.
    • Leave the password field blank.
    • Hit Next.
    • Sign in as Test user.

Reactivating Windows 10 with new motherboard

Plugging it into the new motherboard should be enough, but create a recovery drive in case you need to perform a startup repair:

The fact that you don't have a license key concerns me. If Windows 10 came preinstalled on your computer, you can't transfer it to a new computer or motherboard. You will need to purchase an entirely new license.
