    Transferring a program from one PC to another... Is it possible?


    Hi all,

    In about a week I'm going to be upgrading my PC which will mean a fresh installation of Windows. There is a specific program I have installed on my current PC that I will also need on my upgraded PC. However I don't have a backup of the installation file. I purchased the program AGES AGO and they send you the installation .exe once you've paid for it.

    Is there a way (maybe a third-party app???) That can backup a specific program and restore it? All its registry files, program files, program data etc, basically everything that it requires to run?

    Files - yes.

    Programs - no. You must re-install them.

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
