    Transferring Windows 10 Pro License


    If my old laptop had Windows 10 Pro and has finally crashed for good, how do I go about getting the Windows 10 pro on my new laptop? I purchased it a while back and I see it within my order history on Microsoft but I am not too sure on how to activate it on my new laptop. Is it as simple as signing into my Microsoft account on my new laptop?


    Any help would be much appreciated.

    How do I transfer a Windows 10 Pro license from one computer to another?

    The preinstalled Windows 10 Pro license on the Surface Pro 3 is not transferable. It is an OEM license.

    Hi,

    I am running my laptop with Windows 10 Pro version. I have issues with my laptop and want to replace it. But the item i am planning to buy is having Windows 10 home edition.

    Can i use my pro license again in the new laptop.?

    • how to deactivate from current laptop.
    • IHow can I transfer the license to my new laptop.
    • will adding this license uograde the OS to pro version.?
