    Adobe Illustrator Can't open the illustration


    Working in AI 10.3 on a Mac, opened a file to update, Save, closed and later tried re-opening the file and got the following message: Can't open the illustration. The illustration contains an incomplete or garbled object description.

    (Art Brush) /Title ,


    The same file will get the same message in AI CS on this or any other Mac in the office. Clicking the ok button will open the file but the is nothing shown in the window besides the basic AI screen.


    (We are using AI 10 due to compatiblity issue between us and our vendors.)
    Is there away to repair this file or get the data out of it? This is a project that is still in progress.

    Uninstall Adobe Illustrator CC 2018

    Few months ago i had to install Adobe Illustrator CC 2018 for user,
    who had Adobe account with license.
    Now this user is away and i need to clean that computer.

    I tried unistall from:

    • "Apps & features"
    • "Uninstall or change a program"
    • ">Illustrator_Set-Up.exe /uninstall" from administrator command prompt

    But it only opens "Creative Cloud" window where it needs log-in information. (Or "No internet connection" if no network connected)
    Can i uninstall without finding someone with account?

    adobe reader 8 makes my screen go black

    i have adobe acrobat reader 8 installed on win 7 rc 64 bit. every time i click a link in Internet explorer that opens adobe reader my screen will go black and the monitor will turn off then i have to press reset. is this a known bug?
