    Trojan:Win32/Fuerboos.A!CL picked up by Windows Defender


    This morning I ran a program in Visual Studio 19 and Windows Defender immediately said there was a threat and said it picked up this trojan and quarantined it. I removed the trojan through Windows Defender but every time I ran a program in visual studio it popped up again. I ran Malwarebytes and nothing came up. Does my pc actually have a trojan?

    What is the recommended steps to delete Trojan Win32/Gatrid.E!cl?

    Original title: Trojan Win32/Gatrid.E!cl

    Just isolated this malware. If I delete, is that all that is necessary? Has it infected other files. How does it gain access. What is the recommended steps that should be taken now. This specific Trojan did not show up when I entered a community search.

    Trojan:Win32/Fuerboos.A!CL picked up by Windows Defender

    Windows Defender detects Trojan:Win32/Fuerboos.C!cl in Firefox cache


    Is this a false positive? Its detected it at least 3 times now spanning 4 days. Each time it alerts me, I tell it to delete it, then I clear the entire Firefox cache. run Ccleaner (non-infected version) and run Malwarebytes. Only WD is detecting it.

    Running Latest Firefox with Ublock Origin

    ESET online scanner = clean
    MBAM = clean
    TDSSKiller = clean
    AdwCleaner = clean
    Windows Defender = clean (after I tell it to remove the file.)
    Kaspersky Security Scan = Clean
