    Windows Defender detected virus TrojanDownloader

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wds...anDownloader:JS/Fakepack&ThreatID=-2147235304 This
Microsoft document wasn’t much help, was it?

The files you inquired about may be legitimate windows files but in some cases might be a malware entry. They’ve been in your computer for a while and probably aren’t related to the malware problem you have encountered. Defender
will not scan some files that have been identified during prior scans as legit Windows files.

Any new browser extensions or start-up items that need to be disabled/removed?

You may want to reset your browsers.

Suggest run two or more of the on-demand scanners in List
    of Malware Removal Tools

    And/Or

Follow the steps in https://malwaretips.com/blogs/malware-removal-guide-for-windows/ That
should remove any malware in your computer. Note that Malwarebytes may eliminate all malware issues and it may or may not be necessary to use Hitman Pro or Zemana but – you may need to reset your browsers.

  3. TrojanDownloader:JS/Fakepack threat

    Hi,

My Windows Defender Security Center detects TrojanDownloader:JS/Fakepack several times. After removing the threat, during a scan the problem appears again. How can I make sure my PC does not contain a virus? Also, how can I make sure that I properly
    remove that threat?

    Trojandownloader: O97M/adnel

    Hi,

I used the Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool to scan my computer. The scan results show Trojandownloader O97M/adnel as malicious software detected but not removed.

The Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool did not remove this trojan file. I dont know why.

How do I remove this malicious software?

    Thanks
