  2. Infected MS Office package by Trojan:Win32/Dorv.D!rfn

    To: MartyLeeYX

Hi! Moreover, thank you for your time and suggestions. Compelling is the reading of "How to Remove TrojanWin32Dorv.B!rfn Absolutely", so detailed, and so full of recommendations.

The problem is that the infection came from Trojan:Win32/Dorv.D!rfn, and you refer to another animal: Trojan:Win32/Dorv.B!rfn.

The devil is in the details! From ‘B’ to ‘D’, just another world!

    Cheers!

    A.

    detects and removes this threat.

This threat can perform a number of actions of a malicious hacker's choice on your PC.

Find out ways that malware can get on your PC.

    What to do now

Use the following free Microsoft software to detect and remove this threat:

You should also run a full scan. A full scan might find other, hidden malware.

    -------------------------

Where does Defender report that this is being found? Open Defender and go to the History tab, select details for the detection.

It is certainly possible that your OneDrive temp folder is where this is being detected. The detection may be real, but is probably false. Depending on where the infection is being detected, you may want to exclude the OneDrive temp folder from being scanned.
