Windows 10: Trouble Loading ICC Profile

I recently purchased an ASUS VG32VQ monitor. The color was off so i downloaded an ICC file which took a while to get installed...I noticed that the monitor had a dead pixel so i had amazon send me THE EXACT SAME MONITOR. well when i plugged my new monitor in the ICC profile does nothing zero nada. i plugged the one in that i will be returning and the color profile loaded right up no problem. plugged the new one in and bam nothing no new color profile. does the ICC somehow know that it wasnt the original monitor and wont apply to this one? as i said it is the same brand make model everything. i have been working on this for hours and cannot get this ICC to load at all. please help.

After Windows 10 1607 - ICC Profiles Load But Not Applied

Windows 10 x64

Display Driver: Intel HD Graphics 4600 (Version 20.19.15.4404 - Latest available for this OEM Computer)

Before the 1607 update, ICC color management profiles for my wide gamut monitor would load and function properly.

After the 1607 update, the profiles can be loaded and associated, but there is no effect at all on screen colors.

[Note: Please don't suggest basic things like third-party apps, BIOS settings, etc. The machine is clean and I am doing everything by the book. Profiles in ICC v2 and V4 have been loaded with no effect.]

Unable to load custom ICC color profile in Windows 10

My monitor requires a custom ICC color profile to display correctly. Under Windows 8.1, I was able to load this using the Color Management utility. After upgrading to Windows 10, the utility appears the same, however, I'm unable to load the profile.

The process I've been using is:

• open Color Management
• Under the "Advanced" tab, click "Change system defaults"
• Under the "Devices" tab, click "Add..."
• Click "Browse..." in the popup window and locate the custom profile file and click "add"

Then nothing happens. Under Windows 8.1, the custom profile would appear under the list of "Profiles associated with this device", but not in Windows 10.

Any fixes for this?

Since you've recently installed the Windows 10 Creators update, you may need to look into the color management of your computer to apply the ICC profiles. You may follow the steps shared by
Neeeeks on this link.
