Windows 10: trouble loading troubleshooter error code is 0x80070057

I recently started playing a game called Dota 2 and I encounter random freezes during the game which would require me to close it with task manager.


I started looking for solutions and I was unable to use the compatibility troubleshooter for the game and it says "error while loading troubleshooter" error code is 0x80070057.


Then I tried to troubleshoot other games I play and I realize I can't troubleshoot any of them. My win10 troubleshooters are fine like the internet and all. I did SFC /scan now and there is no error.

Is this a serious issue? Can it be fixed?

Error 0x80070057 when loading the Compatibility Trouble-shooter/

Selecting any program Properties then selecting the Compatibility tab followed by clicking on “Run compatibility trouble shooter”, I receive an Error “Code 0x80070057 (Context: Restricted)
indicating an error occurred when loading the trouble-shooter. This happens on any installed program. The problem is noted on Windows 10 Version 1803 (OS Build 17134.81).
