  1. Trouble with display drivers

So I have about an 8 year old HP laptop, model DV7 6B01TX (it still runs well enough for what I need it for which is why I'm putting in the effort to get it to work haha). It originally ran win7, then I upgraded to win10 with zero issues. Recently I had some issues and reinstalled win10. Unfortunately now I just cannot get the graphics drivers to play nice and I'm stuck on the basic display adapter and its terrible resolution. I have Intel HD 3000/AMD HD 6700M switchable graphics.

I did a fresh install of 7, installed everything and had a bit of success. Then I upgraded to 10 and the drivers stopped working. I uninstalled them with DDU and a few minutes later they seemed to install themselves and were working great until I had to restart. It wouldn't boot and had to go to a restore point before the drivers were working.

I'm at a complete loss as to how to get this working. I know they're not made for 10 but on the other hand they've worked from 10s release until now. Just have no idea how to get them to work again so any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
