Windows 10: Trouble with Microsoft Store

Some context: A week or so ago I had problems with the xbox app, it wouldn't open and after the "X" logo disappeared, the app would just be a blank dark-grey screen, so I went and re-installed it with the hope of making it work, but of course, it just wouldn't install and be stuck on "making things awesome", I finally fixed it after 3 damn days of browsing threads and looking up videos, turns out I had to download the latest windows update... an update that I couldn't find anywhere in my settings tab, where I always download my updates from, only on a website I suddenly stumbled upon with dumb luck. After a few hours of downloading the update, it finally worked, I even got the game pass ultimate and even got hooked on a game that I played for the last week.


Now for some reason, today, the xbox app just decided to not work again because **** me, no other reason, the same issue I had a week ago just occurred again and I was concerned because, there are no more articles I can browse, no more updates to install and no more videos to look for, I literally browsed everything related to this xbox app and that issue but please someone prove my wrong and offer me a solution.


Anyways, the xbox app doesn't work but I thought the microsoft store app worked fine and I could play my games from there, but obviously I stumbled upon a problem there too, I had to install some updates on the game but it was stuck on "verifying license", after a few minutes I just got an error. So here I go mindlessly browsing articles and threads about this problem, and finally I found a solution, at least I thought. So the official microsoft article told me to go to the app settings and reset it, so that's what I did. Big mistake. Now the microsoft store app basically got erased from my computer, nowhere to be found in the apps & features, but, I can still see it in my start menu, like a **** "ghost" of what it was, I can't open it, I can't delete it, I can't do anything with it, it's just there, simply on my computer and not on my computer at the same time.


I guess you know what I did next, went and looked at articles and video tutorials. So I found this command that you have to input it in the PowerShell program on your computer, basically a CMD on steroids, never even heard of it until today, that command would supposedly reinstall my microsoft store app, but of course, it did ****, app still doesn't work.


So after a long day of work, I got out earlier than usual today, got a bit excited and that I finally was able to relax a bit on my computer more than usual and instead of doing that I'm stuck here playing tech guy and ranting on forums. And I regret it, I regret it a lot that I didn't open my wallet a bit more and just get these games on steam so I can avoid all this ****, steam is a much better app, but I guess it's the gamepass that lured me into this ****, and tomorrow I will wait for some IT guy to come and re-install my windows because I've ran out of options, that was his recommendation as well to get the microsoft store back, hopefully with that the xbox app will stop **** around and will work too, or maybe I will have to look on another hidden website for another **** 3 hour long update? I'll make sure I won't renew my subscription with the gamepass ultimate and just buy my games that I played there on steam, even though it will cost more money at least it won't cost my time, my patience and my **** sanity.


So now that my rant's over, does anyone offer a solution to all of these? Or do I really have to re-install my windows?

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store

To resolve your concern about Windows Store, we suggest for you to follow these steps:

• Press Windows key + R key to open Run.
• Type wsreset.exe and press
  Enter.
• Restart the PC, sign in with your Microsoft user account and check if you are able to find Windows Store.
