Windows 10: Trouble with verification code - bitlocker

I got into a troublesome situation regarding Bitlocker.I was restarting windows because there was a request to install Windowstest update. However, I forgot to detach my external HD. Somehow it locked my initialization into the BitLocker screen. I tried the normal procedure, to log in into my Microsoft account to get the code and unlock the laptop. It asks for a verification code that is sent as message to my phone number. The registered phone number is a Brazilian one. I don't have access to it, since I am in the US. Asked to change the verification, to send the code to my other email address

I understand that you need to check your BitLocker through your Microsoft account, and you need to use your mailbox to receive the verification code in order to verify your identity information, and your mailbox can't receive the verification code, so you can't check your BitLocker.



The inability of mailbox to receive the verification code may be caused by server instability.

• Please try to send the verification code here after some time.
  
• Please try to send verification code after changing network environment.
  
• Please check whether there is a verification code email in the junk mailbox of your mailbox.
  

If you still can't receive emails in your mailbox. Then you can't check your BitLocker through your Microsoft account. At this point, we can't access the system through regular method. Please try the following steps for a fresh installation.

Please ensure that you backup any important data, including Documents, Pictures, Videos, and more.

1. Prepare a flash driver with at least 8GB (Pay attention to backup data, because creating a boot disk will erase all data of the flash driver). Then operate it on another Windows computer.
   
2. Visit Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com) and click "Download Now" to download MCT(Media Creation Tool).
   
3. Run the MCT, select "Create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD or ISO file) for another PC”, and then choose Language, Version, Architecture(if you are not sure about these, choose "Use the recommended options for this PC"), then select "USB flash drive" in the "Select Media to Use" interface, then make a boot disk.

problem with getting bitlock verification code

I had to get the motherboard on my laptop replaced and this has made it so the laptop is requiring a bitlock code. When I tried to access this bitlock code through the microsoft account, it required verification but has not sent the verification code to my email. How can this be fixed so I can get into my laptop.
