Windows 10: Trouble with wifi

Hey, i need help so my laptop stopped connecting to wifi 3 days ago and the problem wouldnt go away so i decided to reboot it.Yes rebooting did help but now whenever i connect to wifi it shows 1 bar and on my phone and other laptops connected to the same wifi it shows full bars.This is really frustrating because i can do any school work requiring wifi on it. Ive tried resetting my wifi, restarting the laptop, using command prompt , updating the adapter etc but nothing has worked .is ther a way to fix this becasue i cant go on like this ive literally tried everything and im at my wits end . i c

WiFi connection troubles

I've installed the drivers you recommended and I've followed the instructions (and restarted).nothing has changed. maybe I'm missing a step? I'm currently plugged into an ethernet cable right now, which is what the troubleshooter told me to do.

 

Trouble saving voicemail number

To access my voicemail it is my phone number, a pause and 4 digit pin.



I did the following steps:

• Turned off default voicemail number
• Added a , (for pause) at end of my phone number
• Added the 4 digit pin

I get the following error message We're having trouble saving your voicemail number right now. Try again later.



Any suggestions on how to correct this?

 

Recommendation for WiFi usb / card

If you have a desktop computer I would STRONGLY suggest a PCIe adapter rather than a USB adapter if you go with WiFi 6. The only USB WiFi adapters that I have seen thus far use a Realtek chipset which is reported to have some serious flaws. In my own personal experience, I have tried 2 of these and returned both, getting performance worse than other WiFi 5 adapters and constant disconnects even 10 feet from my WiFi router.

If you go with a USB adapter, I would suggest a quality WiFi 5 adapter.

One more note: Should you decide to go with a WiFi 6 PCIe adapter, I would suggest a WiFi 6e model. They actually cost no more, and they are one step up just in case you ever go to a WiFi 6e router.
