  1. Troubleshooting After Latest Feature update to Windows 10 20H2

I recently tried to install the latest "Feature Update To WIndows 10,version 20H2.But my pc gets crashed, become completely unresponsive.I force fully shut down and then restart. But still my pc keeps crashing without any reason. So i tried sfc/scannow in control panel and it found some corruptions and fixed it.After that my pc was okay. But when i tried to install that update once again. This problem continued and i fixed it by using sfc.It showed

"Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them.

For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at

windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offline

repairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag."

    :)

Update History is not showing v.20H2

    Hi Dominic

I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this . . .

This is normal behavior in Windows 10, typically when you install a Feature Update like 20h2, the update history is wiped, this is to prevent the user from trying to uninstall an update that was prior to the Feature Update, which would de-stabilize Windows
10, the list should start building again, when some updates are applied to version 20h2 . . .

Microsoft to make Windows 10 updates mandatory

Well, at the moment at least, you can choose to defer upgrades. Under Settings > Windows Updates > Advanced options you need to check the box labeled "Defer upgrades". What does that do? Good question. The answer I've found might illuminate it to a degree.

Defer feature updates in Windows 10

I hear this only applies to Pro and Enterprise editions. But I can't verify that.

    Windows 10 20H2 Upgrade

I doubt it is a glitch. I suspect it was designed that way.
