Trying to change 'FriendlyName' in registry

I am in serious danger of losing the will to live here!
I tried everything you suggested, thanks for that, but to no avail.
Creating a test admin account was interesting as the problem was not there. However, I did everything you suggested and still, no matter what, my AIO printer shows up in Scanners as 'Karas-iPhone'!
See attached snip. The printer can be seen as 'HP4520 Maggie' in Devices, but when I select 'Start Scan' from right click, it shows as 'Karas-iPhone'.
Again, I have removed all registry references to 'Karas-iPhone' but they just come back after a reboot.
I have wasted so much time on this, and don't want to be beaten!

Without being able to replicate the issue, I cannot add further comment except ....

As the test account did not have the issue, why not create a new account, transfer your information and delete the old one ?

    or

One last try, registry files are cache like and so a cached copy maybe the issue, try deleting the offline file cache or reset the offline file cache

    Good luck with your plight.

    Solved it!
The solution was on the printer itself. Somehow, the 'Host Name' was set to 'Karas-iPhone'. Changing that on the printer has sorted everything out! How that new printer got that name I will never know. I know that doesn't explain why the test account didn't have the issue, but....
Anyway, thanks to everyone for their valued suggestions.
