Windows 10: Trying to diagnose my laptop with Startup Repair , but the password is incorrect because is...

Hello , now this is a new confusing thing here ,


<backstory>

I've made a mistake last year in late December when i was trying to access some accounts on my "saved" data on my primary USB flash drive , and , well it went down hill when i restarted the computer with the USB in it oops and everything got corrupted on it as an result.

So I've downloaded what was some of my serous data from the drive on the laptop some of it being corrupted as well didn't bother attention because the rest 80% corrupted files are on the USB atm and i want to forget about them while i'm sobbing my tears.


As of today i got some CD's and wanted to play some music on my laptop when everything frieze , i acted quickly and did a successful restart but on the restart startup i was left with a black screen. so i forced with the shutdown button and booted up again and , hello i started to get on some "how to fix some corrupted files" as my situation.


Everything went ok with the sfc /scannow with the CMD in administrator mode it being 100% successful and it repaired completely as it says.

But then i saw that i can also do a system boot repair so it can repair itself a but better , i guess ?

Anyway i gave it a try Settings->Update and Security -> Recovery -> Restart Now ... waited a bit... ->Startup Repair -> my one account username and then on my surprise THE PASSWORD DIDN'T WORK .

Now how is this possible , I've tried like 5 different passwords , checked the spelling and the keyboard is US no point in changing it

I slightly gave up thinking hmm maby if i try to login with the password and not the PIN like a different login to desktop , i normally login with PIN maby yes it was different and it is my mistake , sums up it was't , i logged in to desktop with the password i needed to sign in and the one that is to the Microsoft account.


Am i missing something , do i need a different password for my account to do a System Boot Repair?

Startup repair incorrect password

I hadnt used my laptop for a couple weeks. When i started it today my normal 4 digit passcode did not work and then said to contact an administrator. When I restarted it got stuck at “just a moment” so i restarted 3 times until i got recovery options. I
tried system restore and startup repair BUT the problem is it keeps saying I am entering the wrong password. So i signed into my microsoft account on a different device and got in fine but my laptop keeps saying incorrect password. The last time i used the
laptop it performed updates and shut down. What do I do?

Basically title. Every password i input in startup repair is incorrect, even though when i login to microsoft using the same acc it works.
