Windows 10: trying to download minecraft onto windows 10

Hiya,

In 2018 I bought Minecraft via the Minecraft website for a windows 8 computer, however I have since got a new laptop with windows 10 Microsoft surface go. This new laptop only allows apps to be installed via the Microsoft store due to the S mode it has. Due to security reasons I am not keen on the idea of turning that off as its one-way, therefore I was wondering whether there was a way of installing it onto the laptop without having to re-buy from the Microsoft store?

Unable to open Minecraft

• Are you using Minecraft app downloaded from Store or Minecraft program?
• Do you receive any error?

I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall Minecraft and check if that fixes the issue.
