  1. Trying to get readiy app to launch automatically at startup

Its not located Settings > Apps > Startup. And in the apps and features window when I click the readiy app and advanced options there is no option to get it to start on startup. Also window key + r then shell:startup won't work since windows doesn't let me make a shortcut of the app that I can copy and paste there.

Any idea how I can do this?

Adding programs to startup with Windows 7?

You could add entries to the registry to launch the apps on startup, but it's easier to just add them to the startup foler as Newt suggested.

Trying to get readiy app to launch automatically at startup

    Vista Automatic Updating Error

    Resolution Suggestion:

    # To resolve this problem, make sure that BITS and the Automatic Updates service are started..

A simple solution but one that works in most circumstances!

    1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

    2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

    3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

    4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

    5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

    6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

    7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.
