    trying to installing brother mfc-7360n printer on window 10 64 machine


    downloaded full driver set from brother for the printer. click yes on install it recognizes the printer click yes to install and it start installing about a quarter of the way and I get a feature transfer error

    My old HP laptop gave out on me. I got a new HP laptop with Windows 10. Need to download drivers for Brother printer MFC-7360N. I follow the steps, but it doesn't complete download. Help!!

    Brother MFC-7360N not working after Windows10 upgrade

    Hi,

    Same printer, same problem. (Brother MFC-7360N)

    I followed the troubleshooting steps, no resolution.

    I installed the drivers from the original drivers disk that came with the machine, no resolution.

    I downloaded the more recent drivers from brother.com, no resolution.

    I uninstalled the drivers and then reinstalled, no resolution.

    Windows 10 doesn't recognize the printer as any of its component parts, but as a 'composite device' that has no manufacturer or other specifications:

    Any information or help is much appreciated.
