Windows 10: Trying to reset and clean install windows. The laptop wont even start now.

Hello, I was resetting my old hp 15-ac121TU (N8M17PA) laptop as I was about to sell it. After the reset, the laptop wont sign in as there were no users anymore. So i decided to clean install the Windows 10. I got a bootable USB using Media Creation Tool from a different system. After the installation, while the system was restarting, it showed that the Windows do not support the current hardware and then went into a restart loop. I tried running msoobe.exe using cmd. But now the laptop is stuck on a blue screen showing "Just a Moment" and a loading screen. Please tell me how shall i proceed from here. I created a bootable USB for ×64 Windows 10, because i remember my laptop being on ×64 architecture. While doing a clean install, i had selected the custom option and deleted the old partitions, since i read that OEM devices can activate Windows later using the BIOS id. I have read a lot of the windows support articles and since almost all of them were pretty old, I think I may have done something wrong probably. I did manage to activate the administrator account using cmd before the clean install, but the msconfig.exe was not running (the pickup guy specifically asked to see that to verify the configuration)and so i decided to just clean install the Windows. The laptop has been stuck on the blue screen for some time. I desperately need help.

If you having an issue installing a driver that worked before you formatted or wont install on a fresh build, sometimes this means hardware damage

 

Clean Install Workaround for Vista

You may remember this news story on techPowerUp! a couple of days ago relating to the lack of clean installs when using the Upgrade Editions of Vista, which required an old OS to be installed. However, Paul Thurrott has managed to find a workaround for this issue, which ironically lets users do a clean install Vista without any previous version of Windows, albeit a little tedious. Here are the steps:

• Boot from the Windows Vista Upgrade DVD as normal
• When prompted for a product code, leave this blank
• Select the version of Vista you have purchased and let Vista install
• When you boot to your desktop for the first time, run the Vista setup from Windows
• This time enter your product key
• When asked whether you want to do an Upgrade of Custom install, select custom and choose a clean install
• Windows will now install for a second time and you should be able to activate it

Remember, these steps are only advised for use in order to achieve a clean install of Vista, it is only legal to use the upgrade editions if you have previously purchased the appropriate version of Windows.
