Windows 10: Trying to uninstall microsoft C++ 2015-2019 redistributable but instead this pops up...

As title says i dont even get the option to modify and this is preventing me from downloading a newer version to play games same error essentially. Can anyone help?

When you try to uninstall do you get any error message?

You can try using a third party application to uninstall this package;

Download and install Revoo Uninstaller:https://www.revouninstaller.com/products/revo-u...

Open the application and click on Uninstaller;

Select Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable (x86) from the list, right click and select Uninstall;

Run appwiz.cpl > select each instance of the 2015, 2017, and 2019 Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables (x86 and x64) > Uninstall. Then proceed with installing the 2015-2019 Redistributables.

Hi,

I have installed MS VC++ redistributable 2015 -2019 Redistributable 14.22.27821.0, but there is any other version with 14.24.28127.4 installed along with Visual Studio 2019. I see both the entries in control panel.

I want to understand why this is not upgrading instead adding new version. Is it suppose to replace the older version?
