    TURN OFF / FIX - START MENU AUTO EXPAND WITH MOUSE COURSOR


    I am referring to the way in which you hover your mouse pointer over something in the start menu column like pictures/documents/music/etc icon and it automatically expands outward. THIS drives me CRAZY. it spoils the experience as i am like everyone else used to navigating through the start menu folders.

    PLEASE remove this feature once and for all.

    It is both extremely DISTURBING and useless by pressing III symbol at the top you can manually expand it in case you forgot what folder an icon takes you to

    it ANNOYS USERS A LOT - FIX IT!

    How to turn off START MENU AUTO EXPAND?

    I am referring to the way in which you hover your mouse pointer over something like the power icon, and it automatically expands outward.

    I am well aware of the mach2 program that does it. Problem is, it is only a temporary solution. The auto expand will turn itself back on. How do I turn it off
    permanently?

    How to turn off START MENU AUTO EXPAND?

    Hi MikeSol_99,

    I can totally understand that this feature is causing annoyance on some users. As of now, there's no news whether it will be fixed in the coming updates of Microsoft. What I can suggest is to upvote other user's feedback to get it noticed so they can create
    an option to turn it off. You can check this thread for the link in Feedback Hub to upvote.
