Turn off "Just Making Sure it's You"

Okay, I was just watching a video when all of the sudden, I got a pop up window from Windows Security, saying "Just Making Sure it's You" and required me to enter my PIN.

This has so far been the only time it's happened to me, but I'm already enraged. I ran a search on the internet for ways to turn it off. There are things like downloadable software and such, but it's ridiculous. We shouldn't have to download software to just turn off something in Windows Security.

Instead, Windows Security should have the option to turn it off already, BUT IT DOESN'T! I know I'm sounding unreasonable, but this should have been an option, and the fact they didn't put it in is just stupid! Did they not think this would annoy some people? It shows how incompetent they are.

Don't try to defend it, it's stupid, the whole thing is stupid and I demand a fix from the actual programmers of Microsoft and Windows Security to develop an update that will allow us to turn off this stupid thing permanently.

I apologize for the rant, but I want a solution for this, not download some unreliable crappy 3rd party software just to change one thing the Windows people should have implemented.

    :)

  4. Turn off "Just Making Sure it's You"

    WINDOWS DEFENDER is turned off

    Hi Ahmed,

Since you're not able to turn on Windows Defender as well, we'd like to know if you have made any changes recently prior to this issue. In the meantime, you may follow the steps below on how to turn on Windows Defender manually:

    • Type Windows Defender in the Search bar and press
      Enter.
    • Go to Settings and make sure that the Turn on real-time protection recommended option is turned on.
Same thing with the other members who are having the same issue, we suggest that you check if the service was setup to
Automatic in the Services option. Please follow the steps that we've provided last
    September 3, 2017.

Let us know how if you were able to turn it on properly by changing the Startup type to Automatic.
