Windows 10: Turn off Task Scheduler "Universal Orchestrator Idle Start" on Task Scheduler

Hi everyone,

I have a problem to DISABLE some existing tasks on Tasks Scheduler.

And I think, these tasks were added by Microsoft when I upgrade my windows 10 to version 1903.


When I try to disable , I go the permission denied.

I tried to use my account and my account got permission denied as well.

Is there any one having same issue?

I would like to appreciate if you could show me how to disable these unnecessary Tasks.

The steps apply to Windows 10 as well.

 

Task Scheduler service will not start.

Thank you for updating us. If Task Scheduler will not start, we suggest that you restart it. The service might be disabled that's why the task will not run. Follow the steps below to troubleshoot Task Scheduler.

• Click Start menu.
• Type Services in the Start Search box.
• Right-Click Services, and select Run as Administrator.
• If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or click
  Continue.
• Right-click the Task Scheduler Service and select Restart.

And have you tried running the System File Checker scan as an Administrator. For more information check this
article. You can also perform DISM after performing SFC.

By default, if it's time for your regularly scheduled backup and your computer is off, sleeping, or hibernating, Windows Backup skips the backup and waits for your next scheduled backup. However, if you want to automatically wake the computer
to perform backup, you can use the task scheduler.

To schedule a task to wake the computer before the scheduled backup time follow these steps:

1. Click on Start button and type “Task Scheduler” in the start search box and press enter.

2. Select the “Task Scheduler” from the menu and click on “Actions” and then select “Create task”.

3. Click “Conditions” tab and make sure that “Wake the computer to run this task” is checked.
