Calculator history makes it easy to confirm if you've entered numbers correctly.

Starting with Calculator app version 10.1907.24.0 in Windows 10 build 18956 and higher, you now have the ability to put Calculator in an Always on Top mode.

This tutorial will show you how to toggle on or off Always on Top mode for the Calculator app for your account in Windows 10.

*note If you close the Calculator app, Always on Top mode will automatically be turned off by default the next time you open Calculator.

1. While you have the Calculator app open, click/tap on the icon next to the calculator mode name (ex: Standard) to toggle on or off Always on Top mode.

I think this is a step in the right direction. I use Calculator daily.

 

Unable to close Calculator app on Windows 10.

Hi,

To assist you better, I would like to ask if the issue persists with other Windows Apps as well.

I suggest you to press/hold the left click button on the title bar of the calculator and drag the Windows to shrink the size of the Windows and check if the close (X) option appears. If the issue still persists, then suggest you to run the Windows Store
Apps troubleshooter by following the steps provided below:

• Type “Troubleshooting” in search box and press Enter.
• Click on View all on top left pane.
• Select “Windows Store Apps” from the list and follow the prompts for troubleshooting.
