Windows 10: Turn On or Off Bluetooth in Windows 10

Bluetooth is on in action center as always and in settings there's the bluetooth page where it searches for devices without the on/off option.

I don't have software for my bluetooth.

 

You might see if installing the software for your Bluetooth device from the manufacturer below may help. If not, you can always uninstall it.

Look for the download option to expand under Support at the link below.

Tried, it doesn't work because when i am installing the software it searches for devices but it can't found my bluetooth dongle. Already contacted the manufacturer about this and waiting answer from them.

 

Interesting since you're able to disable it in Device Manager. Did you already try having the Bluetooth dongle connected to a different USB port on the back of the computer?

It'll be interesting to hear what the manufacturer says.

 

However i will tell to Microsoft of this missing on/off option for external bluetooth dongles, since is common from what i read in the first pages of this topic or they have solved and i am the only one with this problem? *Doh

 

My BT is pre-installed with the manufacturer and i have this issue too.

I just disable it from the device manager and the action center will not display the icon.

 

Did you install your manufacturer drivers? On the Laptop i have no problems because probably i have all official drivers provided directly by Samsung.

 

No issue with laptop but on a desktop instead.

 

Me too. End of July will come out the Redstone update (all the preview builds will become for all of us). In the preview this problem is fixed.
