    Turning off Hyper-v turned off Core Isolation


    I was trying to disable hyper-v for Bluestacks. I couldn't find the "hyper-v" program in the "turn windows features on and off," so I downloaded their exe to turn it off from https://cdn3.bluestacks.com/nilanshu/HD-DisableHyperV_native.exe and it worked but in the process turned off my Core Isolation, with these incompatible drivers: usb2ser.sys MediaTek Inc. , usb2ser.sys MBB . How do I turn Core Isolation back on, I don't care if I have to get rid of bluestacks.

    In case it interest anyone, I finally got around to upgrading my Hyper-V Insider VM to 17672, and Core Isolation remained on(the on setting carried over)*Biggrin

    You could user Hyper-V instead if you like with Core Isolation turned on.

    Hey Shawn, here is something I'm testing now.

    In my Hype-V Insider VM, I turned on Hyper-V and Windows Hypervisor Platform, then got Core Isolation running there too.

    Now to see how the VM runs when my Host and VM both have Core Isolation turned onTurning off Hyper-v turned off Core Isolation :)
