Windows 10: Turning off notifications pulling up my hidden taskbar.

I like to keep the taskbar hidden but its always annoying when it gets pulled up over a notification. I DON'T want to turn off sound notifications, but I DO want to stop them from pulling up the taskbar. Also when I did turn off notifications for my messaging service it didn't stop them from coming up, I don't want them off completely though. Again i'd like to keep the sounds!

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

 

Taskbar icons

Hi,

To address your concern, follow the steps below on how to show hidden icons on the taskbar.

• Open Settings, and click on the Personalization
  icon.
• Click on Taskbar on the left side, and click on the
  Select which icons appear on the taskbar link under the Notification area section on the right.
• Turn on Always show all icons in the notification area at the top
