    TV problems when connected with Windows


    Hello, I currently use my TV to connect my laptop through the wireless option. Everything works fine but whenever I open specific apps, the TV screen goes black, and pixels starts to appear. Is there a fix for it?

    Connect Samsung Smart TV to Computer

    We suggest that you follow these steps:

    • Connect your PC and TV in same network.
    • Got to Start and click on Settings.
    • Open Devices and chose Connected devices from the menu on the left.
    • Click on Add a device.
    • After the wizard finished, just click on your TV and follow the instructions.

    I understand that you are facing issues while connecting the PC to TV. For further clarity on the issue, please respond to the questions below.



    1. Have you connected both the devices to the same network?
    2. Is this the first time you are trying to connect the TV?
    3. Have you tried connecting the TV to any other PC?
    4. Which build version of Windows 10 are you using currently?
    5. What is the make and model of the PC?


    Meanwhile, I would suggest you to refer the article
    Fix connections to wireless displays or docks



    In addition, I would also suggest you to refer the article
    Network settings     from the TV manufacturer and see if that helps.



    If the issue persist, please get back to us with the results of the troubleshooting steps to assist you further.

    Hi Ro,

    There might be a configuration in your TV that we need to change to resolve this . For better assistance, we would like to gather more information:

    • When you connected the HDMI to the TV, what source/display option did you choose?
    • Have you tried connecting the HDMI cable to a different TV/monitor?
    • Have you tried using a different HDMI cable to connect your computer and TV?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
