Windows 10: tv resolution

Discus and support tv resolution in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; hey tv says not support and everyone say change the resolution on yer computer, how can i change the resolution on my computer if it says not support...     hey tv says not support and everyone say change the resolution on yer computer, how can i change the resolution on my computer if it says not support on my tv and cant see anything but not support..... i cant change any settings cause nothing shows up on my tv to change.....

    TV resolution problem

    Hi,

    1920x1080 is the standard resolution for TV's in full HD.

    For us to better assist you, please answer the following questions:

    • Have you tried changing the resolution of the monitor through Intel HD Graphics Control Panel?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

    In the meantime, go to Intel HD Graphics Control Panel and try changing the resolution to get the best picture and size of the video displayed on your monitor.

    Update us with the outcome so we can provide further assistance.

    Increasing mirrored screen resolution

    Hi Sam,

    To further assist you, we would like to know what is the make and model of your HD TV? We also suggest that you check if there's an option to change the resolution through your TV.

    You can also follow these steps on how to adjust screen resolution through Control Panel:

    • Open Control Panel, under Appearance and Personalization, click
      Adjust screen resolution.
    • Click the name of your HD TV, then click the drop down for Resolution.

    Different VGA max resolution and HDMI max, Sony TV

    I wish that I could write something helpful. Getting full resolution out of the TV looks like it would require some sort of hack that I can't supply. I doubt that you'd want to use 1080i (interlaced, 25fps in Europe), even if your graphics card permitted that.

    I'm surprised that a TV panel has a native resolution of 1680 X 1050 (16:10 aspect ratio, as you write). 10 years ago, I had a Sharp "720p" TV, and I believe that it was 1366 X 768 (approximately 16:9).

    The attached shows the officially supported resolutions for the TV. I see that 1440X900 isn't on the list for VGA.

    Not sure what to suggest, other than replacing the Bravia with a 1920 X 1080 monitor or an HD TV.
