Windows 10: typing issue in search bar

I cant type in the search bar of Windows 10. I have tried different keyboard and to the fact that I can type in the browser so it is not keyboard problem. Only in search bar I having problem

If you meant the Cortana search bar, review the suggested solutions on these threads:

We would like to know more information regarding your concern so that we will know why the search bar is not working. Have you recently made any changes/updates prior to this issue?

Did you run the troubleshooter to rebuild the indexing? If not, I would suggest that you run the troubleshooter to fix common indexing issue. You can run the troubleshooter by performing these steps:

• Press the Windows key on your keyboard and type
  Troubleshoot.
• Choose Troubleshoot in the results.
• Under Find and fix other problems highlight
  Search and Indexing then click Run the troubleshooter.

Can't type in Search bars or login bar in browser.

This can be caused by corrupted system files. To help resolve the issue, we suggest following the steps provided by Abdul_Malik in this
thread that was found helpful in resolving the same issue. After doing so, try using
the search bar and see if you can type anything on it.
