Windows 10: UAskEmbed Chrome Extension virus

Have an amazing day and special greetingsfrom my side. Unfortunately, I'm writing to you with the major problem I'veever faced so far.


I got an unknown virus. That's the final"diagnosis" from 21 IT specialist I've been to. This virus inimpossible to be detected by any antivirus existing we've tried 53, to beexact. I've recorded several screen videos, so it could be more clear to understandwhat I have problems with.


This virus is called"UAskeEmbed". Well, at least it's the way it appears in my extensionsin Google Chrome. I want to tell you in advance, that all possible radicalmethods were taken, including reinstalling Windows 10 system again and startingeverything from the scratch. This virus opens ads, porn, different games websiteand what not... everything by itself. It lives its own amazing life. I'mpetrified for my card security, that's why I can't sign in Google accountanymore.


At the beginning, the extension file namewas "pked.....". I was trying to show this to you in the video. Butafter I deleted this folder with the help of "regedit", it appearedagain under a different name! That was a shocker for me, to be honest. Now ithas a different ID name. And something tells me, if I delete this folder again,it's going to reappear under a new name.


One IT specialist told me I have to deleteall my documents on C and D drives. But that's impossible. The mostimportant documents in my life are there - I've been collecting those for 15 years now.That's all about my work. I can't delete a single one, it would be impossibleto find those files anywhere on the net.


Also, I used one 128GB USB drive morelikely it's infected with this stupid virus as well, when tried to save myfiles just in case. And one 1TB hard drive. For the same reason.


One more thing, my laptop can't do thebackup. It started from the moment this virus appeared. I tried to createsystem image also not working. When I do the back up, it stops at 97% andthat's it. It doesn't do a thing after that. It can remain like that at 97%for days or even years, I'm sure, I just don't have any intention to checkthat.


I would sincerely appreciate your help. Ifthere's anything you could help me with. I'm not that smart and may not know alot of these IT thingies...but I want to save my laptop and nervous system aswell.

We can imagine how difficult it could be and we truly appreciate the time and effort that you have taken to research and work on this issue. However, we would suggest you to follow steps mentioned below and check if it helps.

1. Right click on Google Chrome icon (shortcut icon) and choose
   Properties.
   
2. Go to Shortcut tab.
   
3. Copy and paste the following parameter in the text box across the
   Target field.
   
   -enable-easy-off-store-extension-install
   
   Please refer picture below.
   

4. Then try adding the extension and check if it resolves the issue.
