Windows 10: UEFI Settings won't show in advance restart

Hey, basically my uefi settings won't show in advanced restart i also have tried to go into the bios to disable secure boot but secure boot is not an option, is this just me? Also is there a solution?

I did have UEFI Firmware Settings under settings / update and security / recovery / advanced startup - restart now

and then under troubleshooting /advanced

but it is no longer listed... how can I get the UEFI Firmware settings back into recovery?

That is what I was working to resolve is the firmware mode issue. I had insured I was in UEFI mode during the boot and had converted the hard drive to GTP so they were compatible.

My question is does Win10 automatically switch between the two or is there a manual

I also wanted to add that I was experimenting a bit as well so I took an old 256GB I had formated it to GTP, set the firmware to UEFI and then installed a fresh Win10 from a CD.

Result was it did boot ok but when I went to verify it being on UEFI by going to Settings - updated - recovery - restart now the UEFI box was still not there as I expected it to be.

I do not know what else to do as that should have at least shown me it was possible to achieve.

Hardware and software conflict is one of the possible reasons why you're experiencing black screen. Sometimes, it is also because of hardware failure. To get this issue fixed, we suggest that you
boot into Safe Mode by following these steps:

• Turn off your computer 3 times while booting. Windows should automatically boot to the Recovery Environment after 3 unsuccessful attempts in a row.
  
• Once you are within the Recovery Environment, select Troubleshoot, and then
  Advanced options, then Startup Settings, and
  Restart. When it restarts, you should see a number of options. Press 5 or F5 for
  Safe Mode with Networking.

Once your computer is in Safe Mode, please follow the workaround provided on this
link. Simply select the similar case that you're experiencing to show the troubleshooting steps.
