  1. UMDF Host Problem causing System crash

    Hi there,

I'm experiencing frequent system crashes these days, and it comes to my attention that there's a critical event in the event viewer indicating a 'UMDF Host Problem'. Here's the full report. And there's no minidump file could be found, but there's one WudfHost_ext__15240.dmp being created almost the same time as my system crashed so I thought this might be highly relevent. I've upload the dump file to dropbox for you guys to check out. Thanks a lot.

    P.S. The dump file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/85ff6div15tscna/WudfHost_ext__15240.dmp?dl=0

  2. UMDF Host Problem Event 10110 Problem Code 11 USB Error ?

    Hi,

A problem has occurred with one or more user-mode drivers and the hosting process has been terminated. This may temporarily interrupt your ability to access the devices.

For now try the troubleshooting steps and check if it helps to resolve the issue. Follow the steps:

    • Press Windows and X keys together.
    • Select “Device Manager”.
    • Locate and expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers.
    • Right-click on theUSB root hub "
      and click onuninstall”.
    • Restart the computer once the driver uninstalls.
You can also install driver by the following steps:

    • Press Windows key + X and click on Device Manager.
    • Right Click on the USB root hub & Select Update Driver Software.
    • Select browse my computer for a driver software.
    • Select Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.
    • Select the driver option according your device model and install.

  3. Error 0x2efd in XMLHttpRequests crashes Hosted Web UWP App

    Hi,

i also posted this question in the developer forums, cause it is more appropriate there:

[UWP][HTML]Error 0x2efd in XMLHttpRequests crashes Hosted Web UWP App

But to give you the asked infos:

    • It is a self developed Hosted WebApp
    • The Windows is updated, Version in previous post
    • The issue started when i first tested the App offline
    • The troubleshooting steps are all described in my post
    • No Screenshot, cause the app crashes silently, when debugging the Exception comes from the WWAHost
    Greetings

UMDF Host Problem causing System crash

    all games crash!

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?
